EHT is a manufacturing company that deals with the production of machine tools. While its main facilities are in Germany, it has branch offices in Russia and Poland. The high tech tools produced by EHT are often applied in sheet metalworking by companies all over the globe.

EHT was founded in 1771 in Tubingen Germany and since its inception, it has always aimed at implementing long term strategies in its business approach. Over the years, there has been an increasing demand for EHT products, and to meet those needs the company has, through its cooperation partners, expanded its operations to locations outside Europe.

Besides, continuous research has enabled EHT to come up with newer and more innovative inventions, and this explains how it moved from production of forestry and agricultural tools to manufacturing of textile and steel wool machines. For the last 80 years, the company has been providing steel wool machines to businesses around the world.

EHT supplies a wide range of products, including guillotine shears, blades, bending machines and press brakes. Some of the available bending machines models include the powerpress, multipress, variopress and profipress. The eco- cut, multi cut and variocut are the alternatives for cutting that they also supply. The company's multipress brake that is now in wide use was the first of its kind to ever apply HOERBIGER's electrohydraulic ePrax drive. Apart from the machines, the company provides training on metal sheet cutting and bending to interested parties. Also, customers with outdated machines can through the services of EHT technicians, have their equipment modified to improve efficiency.

EHT is known to be a leading manufacturer of machine tools and while it was initially producing standard machines, it took a different approach from 2003 on, in line with the contract it made with TRUMP. Currently, the company produces special purpose machinery and where it has no capacity to develop components in-house, it partners with suppliers who provide their expert services in the production. In 2011, EHT liaised with HOERBIEGER when the latter was out searching for a press brake electrohydraulic drive development partner. Owing to this merger, EHT doesn't purchase elements that need assembly any more. It obtains complete, ready to install systems. This means that EHT only focuses on areas in which it is competent and this subsequently ensures quality in the overall production.
