Description
For sale is a Behrotest ET2 laboratory heating system from Behr Labor-Technik, consisting of the ET2 electronic control unit and a solid six-blade heating block made of stainless steel. The device is used to heat and perform chemical reaction and digestion processes, as is common in environmental, food and analytical laboratories.
The heating block has six holders for 100 ml reaction vessels. Matching Behr reaction vessels according to DIN 38409 Part 41 as well as other glass tubes are included in the scope of delivery. The control unit offers time, temperature and program selection via a digital user interface. The buttons respond and the indicator lights work, but a full function test has not been performed.
Visually, the heating system is in used condition. The heating block shows clear signs of wear and oxidation, as is typical of regular laboratory operation. The control unit is well preserved and shows only slight signs of use. Cables and connections are fully available.
The instrument is ideal for users looking for a robust heating and reaction system for sample preparation, digestion, or other thermal laboratory applications.
Remarks
The Behrotest ET2 heating system is in a used, functional, but visually clearly stressed condition. The solid stainless steel heating block shows clearly visible signs of wear and oxidation, including discoloration, slight corrosion and typical signs of intensive laboratory use. The six heating openings are complete, but also show signs of wear.
The ET2 control unit is in better condition on the outside; the case has only slight scratches and signs of use. The control buttons react, the indicator light switches on and the display shows activity. However, a complete functional or heating test was not carried out, so that the technical usability cannot be guaranteed.
The associated reaction vessels and glass tubes are present and optically intact. Closures and cuts show no recognizable damage. The cable and power supply are complete and undamaged.
Due to its robust design, the system is still well suited as a replacement device, for non-safety-relevant applications or for the production of spare parts.
