The additional cost is the sales commission, which is covered by the buyer. The surcharge will represent 18 % of the final price plus VAT. The final price includes both the highest bid and commission costs.

Some selected auctions require the deposit of a valid credit card to participate. This process is needed to verify the participating bidders.
Your credit card will not be charged automatically. No amounts will be blocked after depositing the card data.

Surplex will NOT charge your credit card during the normal purchase process (punctual and complete payment).
After placing a winning bid on the auction, you will have the possibility to choose the payment method.
In case of late or non-payment Surplex reserves the right to charge the unpaid amount in part or in full from the deposited credit card.

Your credit card must be valid until at least two weeks after the end of the auction in order to be used as a security deposit.
