Using our automatic bidding agent, you can define the maximum price you are willing to pay for the item you are interested in.
After having entered the maximum price you are willing to pay for an item, your bid will be automatically increased by the next possible bid increment, so that you can become the highest bidder.
An example:
Let’s presume you are bidding on an article with a starting price of 50€. The bid increment amount is set to 20€. So far, no one has made an offer on the item. You are willing to pay a maximum amount of 400€ for it, so you enter this amount as your maximum price.
- If there are no other offers, the automatic bidding agent will submit an offer of 50€ in your name, in order to reach the starting price of the item.
- Should another bidder place a higher bid (for example 100 €), the bidding agent will automatically raise your offer by the given increment to the next higher possible bid, which in this case would be 120€.
Other regulations:
- Should your maximum offer be outbid by another bidder, you will be notified of this fact via e-mail. You can then decide if you want to enter a new maximum amount or if you rather pass on this listing.
- If two bidders are using the automatic bidding agent at the same time, they will automatically outbid each other until one of them reaches his maximum price.
If two users have offered the same maximum price for the same item, the bidder who did it first will become the highest bidder.
