Generally, heating units are differentiated between those used in industrial and private settings. Heaters for private use are generally powered using the following raw materials: heating gas, heating oil, electricity or heat pumps. The last few years, pellet heating systems have become more popular. There are other standards set for the industrial sector because often, entire factory workshops need to be heated. Panel radiators are mainly used in industry. These are primarily hung from the ceiling of the workshop. The industrial workshops are then able to maintain a comfortable room temperature, using the radiated heat. Heating units are available for a large variety of uses. Biomass plants and combined heat and power systems are available as stationary or portable units. This makes the heating of construction sites possible. Large space heaters are usually found in public and cultural institutions. Greenhouse heaters are used in the agricultural industry to optimise yield. Nowadays boilers are equipped with modern technologies and allow rooms to be heated with low CO2 emissions. Industrial heating is usually organised and planned by special architecture firms for this industry, to avoid planning errors.
