SCHAUDT is a sanding machines manufacturer that is presently based in Germany. The company has through the years, acquired expertise in producing technologically advanced machine tools and it currently operates under the Koerber Schleifring Group alongside seven other corporate brands (STUDER, JUNG, MAGERLE, EWAG, WALTER, BLOHM, and MIKROSA). SCHAUDT's key customers include the automotive, aviation, tool, medical technology, watch, and printing industries as well as power plant turbine firms. Europe, China and the United States make the company's largest markets.

SCHAUDT was established in 1906 in Stuttgart by the company founder, Kurt A Korber. It started off as a factory for Unger machines and later developed into an internationally recognized machine tool manufacturer. In 1983, SCHAUDT was integrated into KOBER AG, and in 1987, the companies in the grinding machine manufacturing sector (including SCHAUDT), paper processing machine manufacturing division and tobacco machine manufacturing segments came together as one under the parent company KORBER AG.

SCHAUDT produces cylindrical and circular grinding solutions with a specific focus on tool grinding, camshaft grinding, roll grinding, and production grinding as well as surface and profile grinding machines. The products that it currently supplies to the market include the Zeus, Kairos, Stratos, S, PF51, P551, M, M2, 61 and 71 models.

These grinding machines are available either as standalone systems or as systems that can be integrated into existing assembly lines. To ensure optimum performance, each of the products is tested in-house.

The company also provides original spare parts to enable accurate repair works which subsequently warrant the maintenance of quality and functionality of the industrial machinery. In addition, where required, the company develops work pieces based on customer specifications and to guarantee safe and optimal operation. SCHAUDT also offers training for client staff (the company receives about 1000 professional trainees each year for the courses it offers on programming, grinding and maintenance).

SCHAUDT has continuously formed partnerships to facilitate company growth and to date, it has delivered over 10,000 machines to clients all over the world. The company has sales and service companies based in Bangalore, Tokyo, and Beijing among other locations. Nearly all of the company's production facilities have experienced personnel who are in charge of machine and assembly overhaul. In conducting these processes, the company applies the same procedures, tools and check-lists to ascertain that every machine worked on is the same as the original one.
