PIERALISI edible oil extraction plant

The three squeezing machines have an extraction capacity of 400 kg/hr (for sunflower oil) and are composed of 4 worm screw extruders with an external case made of interchangeable modules in hardened steel. Each individual extruder is completely modular and allows for the identification of a single component that may be damaged in order to replace it easily and economically.

These three machines require half a day per week for cleaning and inspection of consumable parts, which are located at the front, where the pelletized product comes out, and in the thrust bearings.

The machine has been perfected over time to achieve maximum extraction potential (as far as sunflower seeds are concerned) and to minimize wear on the various parts. It is possible to change the order and composition of the individual rings that make up the case for the processing of other oilseeds (in this case, the plant was used for the extraction of linseed, safflower, almond, and hazelnut oil).

Regarding the tank known as the "paletizer", it is an insulated and heated tank, with a slow agitation system inside to keep the product mixed homogeneously in terms of sediment and to maintain the temperature (approximately 37°C) during the subsequent stages. Furthermore, it acts as a buffer between the extraction machines and the decanter.

The decanter is a modified BABY 2 model from PIERALISI, with scraper and drum modifications for the processing of sunflower oil.

The separator, also from PIERALISI, has customised separator discs for optimal performance with sunflower oil.

The decanter and the separator have a production capacity that can support another half squeezing machine (thus another 6 individual extruders), to achieve the maximum quantity/quality ratio of the processed product.

The filter is a classic cartridge filter produced by "DELLA TOFFOLA" with specific plastic inserts for oil filtration, as well as seals. Filtration capacity in optimal condition of the filter cartridges: 1500 l/hr of sunflower oil.

The cleaning sieve is a simple sieve with appropriately sized screens for sunflower seed cleaning, full capacity production: 3600 kg/hr of sunflower oil.

Finally, the machine located near the filter is an artisanal deodorizer (never used) with a full capacity of approximately: 500 l/hr of clean oil.

The entire plant has been idle for a couple of years due to a lack of qualified personnel. Some maintenance work slightly above routine is required, as well as a general overhaul. Spare parts and all necessary accessories are available.

Additionally, the components of the plant NOT included in the offer are:

• 3 stainless steel tanks with water circulation cooling/heating coil, each of 100 hl.
• 3 tanks of 25 hl each.
• 3 pumps of various types (piston and gear pumps) for transferring and loading oil and sediments.

The sale of the above-mentioned components will be considered at the time of finalizing the sale of the plant.
