Description

Workpieces are transported on a cross beam using two independent collets which clamp the workpiece during processing and movement. Positioning of the two independent collets in X direction is done by brushless motors. The collets allow for workpiece transportation without surface damages. Workpiece thickness is measured and the program value is adjusted in real time. Therefore, precise processing in Z direction is ensured. Opening and reclamping of collets takes place automatically. At the inlet area of the machine, a laser system is located which can take the zero point from leading and/or rear edges. Technical details: milling spindle with motor 4,5 KW (ISO30, turning speed max. 18,000 rpm), grooving saw with saw blade Ø 120 mm, loading belt with rubberized, free-running rollers (length 1000 mm)
