BMW E30 racing car – one-off with DMSB car passport
An absolutely unique specimen, uncompromisingly built by German masters and engineers – no import!
The construction was carried out at great expense between 2012 and 2025. The restoration with new parts would cost over 150,000 € today.
Technology & Performance
• Engine: BMW S50B30 (approx. 5,000 km run, from BMW Z1)
• Transmission: 6-speed Getrag from M3 E36 3.2l
• Differential: 210 M3 E36 (3.91) with 40% lock
• Chassis: Öhlins Rennsport (custom-made)
• Brake: Balance beam system, adjustment via rotary wheel & motorsport valve
• Steering: Porsche GT3 Cup handlebar with Snapp OFF quick-release fastener (no backlash!)
• Seat & Belt: Sparco FIA Full Bucket Seat, Sabelt 6-Point Harness
• Axles: front with 6-piston MOV'IT brakes (340 mm), rear with 4-piston brakes (330 mm)
• Rims: Braid Motorsport 8x18 ET0 front / 9x18 ET–10 rear
• Weight distribution: 50/50 thanks to 30 cm recessed engine & gearbox
Body & Equipment
• Safety cell welded
to dome • Air ducting and wheel arches like on the GT3 RS
• Clad underbody with rear diffuser
• Reinforced domes & adjustment options in the style of Group A / DTM
• Base vehicle: BMW 320i, built in 1983 (with DMSB car pass)
Extras & Options
• For an extra charge: negative molds for bumper/fender, carbon door panels, tunnel/drive covers
• Retrofitting to road approval with TÜV test possible (according to district administration)

Designed for track days & hill climbs. Moved only about 50 km in the last 13 years – technology practically as good as new.

Observații
Since the vehicle has been driven for about 50 km since its construction for the last 13 years (1x trip to the TÜV and 1x test drive including wheel alignment), pretty much everything is to be considered virgin and new and needs to be checked / tightened again after a short break-in period.
