Description
For sale is a robust universal milling machine from the manufacturer WAGNER, model FU-2, manufactured in 1990. The machine is one of the proven milling models of the CME/WAGNER series and impresses with its solid cast steel construction, high stability and versatile applications. It is ideal for toolmaking, mechanical engineering, repair departments, as well as for precise one-off and small-batch production.
The FU-2 has 18 spindle speeds ranging from 40 to 1600 rpm, a swivelling milling head and a large T-slot table (1200 × 300 mm). The travel distances are X 900 mm, Y 350 mm and Z 450 mm, which means that even larger components can be processed safely. The SK40 (ISO 40) spindle holder allows the use of a wide range of tools.
The machine is equipped with a FAGOR 3-axis digital display, which facilitates precise work and quick retrieval of positions. The total output is 7.06 kW, which means that even heavy milling operations can be carried out reliably. A coolant pump is available.
The machine is fully functional and was used in workshop operation until the end. Mechanics, feeds and spindle run smoothly; all transmission levels can be shifted cleanly. Visually, it is in a well-groomed, age-appropriate condition with slight signs of wear on the paintwork and controls.
An instruction manual is included. The WAGNER FU-2 is ready for immediate use and offers a reliable and robust solution for companies that value solid mechanical milling technology
Remarks
The machine is in a fully functional and operational condition. All main functions – spindle drive, milling head adjustment, gear stages and mechanical feeds – work reliably. The FAGOR digital display turns on and displays values properly. The machine was used until the end during ongoing workshop operations.
Visually, the FU-2 shows signs of wear and tear due to age and use: slight paint chips, scratches on the table and panelling as well as occasional wear on handwheels and controls. These are purely cosmetic in nature and do not impair function. The protective panels and safety covers are fully in place.
The milling head can be swivelled cleanly, all 18 speed levels can be shifted perfectly and run without unusual noises. The feed mechanism works smoothly, and the axes can be moved evenly both manually and mechanically. The spindle runs smoothly and with low vibration. Hydraulics and lubrication are functional.
Electrics and controls correspond to the year of manufacture, cables and connections are complete and have no visible damage. An operating manual is available and is included in the scope of delivery.
