Description
The FAHR D17N from 1954 is a classic German vintage tractor and a fine example of robust tractor technology of the post-war period. The vehicle is in an age-appropriate, authentic state of preservation and has been kept functional for decades. The 1.3-liter diesel engine with 17 hp starts and runs stably, the gears can be shifted and the tractor is ready to drive. The essential assemblies such as the engine, clutch, gearbox and PTO shaft work reliably compared to their age.
The tractor was not restored, but deliberately left in its original character. The paintwork is older and has a nice patina with slight signs of wear, as you would expect from a collector's item that is over 70 years old. The nameplate is present and clearly legible (year of construction 1954, chassis number 61166). The electrics are functional, lighting and starter have been checked. A new battery has already been installed.
The scope of delivery also includes original attachments and accessories, including a cutter bar and other mechanical attachments, which are included separately. An original spare parts list and documentation for the D17N/D17NH model is also available.
The FAHR D17N is ideal for collectors, classic car enthusiasts, nostalgic agricultural events or light farm work. Due to its functionality, it offers an excellent basis for preservation, care or later restoration. A charming, rare classic from German tractor history.

Remarks
The FAHR D17N is in an age-appropriate, authentic classic car condition. The machine has been kept functional over the years and is ready to drive. The 1.3-liter diesel engine starts and runs stably, the manual transmission can be engaged and the PTO shaft works. A new battery was recently installed.
Visually, the tractor shows the typical patina of a tractor that is over 70 years old: older paintwork, isolated rusts, minor dents and normal signs of use. The substance looks solid, the frame and axles show no recognizable structural damage. The tires are used, but usable. The lighting and electrics are basically functional.
The engine block and the nameplate (built in 1954, chassis number 61166) are original. The tractor was not restored, but preserved in its historic condition. Attachments such as cutter bars and accessories are available and are included separately.
Overall, it is a fully functional vintage tractor that is great for collectors, enthusiasts, meetings, light yard work or as a base for a later restoration.
