VAT DEPOSIT Business buyers from European Union (EU) Member States and non-EU countries (third countries) are required to pay a VAT deposit to Troostwijk Deutschland on the total purchase amount. The deposit is calculated based on the VAT rate applicable in the Federal Republic of Germany. The VAT deposit will be refunded after proof has been provided that the purchased item(s) have left Germany: EU buyers must complete and return a Confirmation of Arrival (Gelangensbestätigung) to export.de@troostwijkauctions.com. Please use the attached template: "Template_Intra-Community Supply (DE-EN)". Non-EU buyers must send a copy of the electronic export declaration (EX-A with MRN, for verification purposes only) or, for lower-value goods, a completed export declaration bearing the stamp of the EU customs office of exit to export.de@troostwijkauctions.com. Once the required documentation has been verified, the VAT deposit will be refunded.
