About this lot

High-performance premium chip shredder from Indass, model SCR20H, built in 2018 – ideal for any production that needs to process metal chips reliably, safely and with high throughput. This system combines robust mechanics, modern control technology and an efficient 22 kW main drive to create an extremely economical overall solution.
The solid shredder with stainless steel feed hopper effortlessly shreds long, tangled or compact chips made of steel, aluminum, brass or cast iron. The connected heavy-duty conveyor belt ensures a continuous flow of material and thus automates several work steps at once. The high-quality industrial control system from Hieber (2019) with Siemens PLC and frequency converter offers maximum operational reliability, precise control and low downtimes.
The entire system is in very good condition: clean rotor, well-maintained electrics, modern control cabinet and hardly any wear. An immediately ready-to-use system – ideal for integration into existing chip processing, conveyor technology or briquetting.
Main:
– High throughput & reliable shredding
– Automated feeding by inclined conveyor belt
– State-of-the-art PLC control system for safe, efficient processes
– Very good overall condition, ready for
operation – Significantly cheaper than a new system (€55,000–70,000)

Specifications:
– Model: Indass SCR20H | Year of Make: 2018 | SN: 6740
– Motor power: 22 kW, 400 V
– Complete system with conveyor belt and Rittal control cabinet (2019)

– Weight approx. 2,700 kg | Dimensions approx. 7,000 × 1,800 × 3,300 mm

A professional, efficient and ready-to-use solution for economical metal shavings processing.
Remarks:
The facility is in exceptionally good, almost mint condition.
The shredder has rarely been used in production operations, which is why both mechanical and electrical components show minimal signs of wear.
The rotor, the knife mounts and the stainless steel hopper show hardly any wear, and the entire interior is clean and free of material deposits.
The 22 kW main motor as well as the complete control cabinet and PLC system (built in 2019) are also in excellent technical and visual condition. Cables, contacts, frequency converters and control components show no signs of intensive use. The heavy-duty conveyor belt runs smoothly, the rollers and guides are very well preserved, and all covers and safety devices are complete.
Overall, the machine looks as if it had only been used for test purposes or for a very short time. Neither corrosion nor structural damage is visible.
Result: A complete plant that is almost as good as new, fully functional, extremely well maintained and ready for immediate use – a condition that is rarely found in industrial shredding plants of this size.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I bid on a lot?

To place a bid, you need to have an account with Surplex. You can create one by clicking on 'Create Account' at the top right corner of our website. Once registered and after completing your profile, you can start bidding on your desired items.

What is reserve price?

A reserve price is the (non-visible!) minimum amount that a seller has set for a lot and is the lowest price for which the seller is willing to sell. The highest bidder who meets or exceeds this price wins.

If this price is not met, you can still have a chance to win. The closer your bid is to the reserve price, the greater your chance of winning this lot.

The lot is awarded to the highest bidder whose bid is equal to - or higher than - the reserve price at the end of the auction. If the highest bid has met the reserve price or more, the lot is sold immediately for this price.

How much does it cost to buy at Surplex?

There is a fee, the buyer's premium, added to each lot you win. The amount of the fee is shown on each individual lot. You see the buyer's premium for each lot when you are logged in as a customer at Surplex. Note that VAT is always added to your bid unless otherwise stated.

What is an auto bid versus a manual bid?

An auto bid is a way for you to automatically participate in a bidding process. You enter an amount you are willing to pay for an item and then automatic bids are placed for you up to your maximum bid - but only if necessary. Your maximum bid is hidden from other bidders during the auction. Placed auto bids are indicated by an "A" after the placed bid in the bid history. You need to update a manual bid every time someone outbids you. Keep in mind that an auto bid in the same level as a later manual bid will always lead the auction - because it was placed first.

How does the payment process work?

  1. Go to "My Purchases" in your Surplex profile and select "Ready for Checkout."
