Description
Substructure: The substructure of the thread and profile rolling machine consists of welded steel profiles, some of which are clad with sheet metal. In the front area of the substructure is the room for the process lubricant tank.
Main drive: The main drive has the task of generating the rotary movement of the rolling tools required for gear rolling. The drive motor is flanged to the base plate of the rolling spindle bearing with the Cyclo Drive transmission. The rotary movement is transmitted to the rolling spindle via the Schmidt coupling. The machine operates in a speed range of 0 to 30 rpm, whereby this range is further divided into 0 to 20 rpm for continuous operation ( S1 and 20 to 30 rpm for intermittent operation S4). The speed can be infinitely adjusted by a frequency converter.
