Seidenader - L 650 - Sorting Machine for Tablets - 2007

This fully automatic machine is designed for sorting oblong tablets or dragees and eliminating chipped and broken tablets, oversize tablets and "twins". The sorting assembly comprises the hopper and a vibratory lane and is mounted on a stainless steel framework. Items to be sorted are placed into a stainless steel hopper size 36 x 36 x 30 cm and are fed across an adjustable linear feeder onto a 650 mm Ø slanted polymer sorting disk. A rotating product brush ensures the tablets pass through the perforations where broken and undersize tablets are eliminated and ejected via the first discharge. Correctly sized tablets are allowed to leave the Sorter across the second discharge. This sorter has a maximum output of 150,000 items per hour (90 – 100 kg/hr) depending on the product characteristics. (manufacturer's data). The sorting area is enclosed within Perspex guards. All contact parts are manufactured from stainless steel.
