1912 Magnat Debon Course Motorcycle

Top speed of these motorcycles was around 100-115 km/h. Only about 6 of this racer are known. In 1930 Magnat Debon was taken over by Terrot and the name was retained, but the models were almost identical to Terrot. This Magnat Debon 500cc OHV racer is a rare early racer from 1912. First version with the small flat tank, in 1913 came the larger round tank. Motorcycle is complete and engine is loose and has compression. Standard they came with this street version handlebar and luggage rack because many street races in France had to be ridden with a regular street version motorcycle. But many were converted with a racing wheel. This motorcycle also has the special racing exhaust with extra valve that can be opened.
