Description
Commer was a British manufacturer of commercial vehicles that existed from 1905 to 1979. The company produced vans, light and heavy trucks, military vehicles and buses, among others. The Commer brand was exported worldwide, so today examples are still in use outside the United Kingdom, albeit mainly as collector's items.
During World War II, Commer produced a series of military vehicles that were still in use even in the 1980s. During the war, British humorist Frank Muir, who served in the army, radioed a broken down vehicle with the words: "The Commer has come to a full stop".
This impressive Utility Lorry with a large 4.7-liter six-cylinder petrol engine is in attractive condition and is described as technically well. The truck was purchased by a film studio from South East England and driven to their studios for use during filming. The vehicle is finished in the colors and lettering of National Water Well Drilling Maintenance. This right-hand drive truck with British registration has.
The vehicle is sold with a stated mileage of only 3,000 kilometers and comes with the British V5C registration certificate.
In addition, a certificate of authenticity from Marvel Studios is included, confirming that this vehicle was used during the filming of Captain America: The First Avenger.
