The elumatec SBZ 150 has a powerful 15 kW high-frequency spindle from the manufacturer Omlat with a speed range of 12,000 to 22,000 rpm, which enables precise milling, drilling and tapping work. The spindle is controlled by a Control Techniques Unidrive frequency converter, which ensures infinitely variable speed control.
The machine is equipped with a CNC control system from elumatec and offers a clear user interface with a separate control panel, screen, keyboard as well as emergency stop and hand controls. Several pneumatic clamping devices enable the profiles to be securely fixed during machining.
The system also includes an industrial extraction and filter unit (IFS IFMC 1100) for the efficient removal of chips and dust from the work area.
