The SL presents itself in a very nice, glossy black paint job with good gaps. Typical signs of wear are present, but overall the vehicle looks well-groomed and coherent.
The interior is complete and preserved in its original condition. The leather seats show patina appropriate to their age, but are without structural damage. Wood and plastic surfaces are clean and not excessively worn.
The V8 runs cleanly and powerfully. The electric soft top works perfectly, but there is a slight leak on one of the soft top cylinders. The hydraulics still work reliably – but an overhaul would be recommended in the medium term.
Chassis and brakes look solid. Tires and rims in neat condition.
