The 500 SE presents itself in beautiful, honest condition. The paint shows a good shine, the body looks straight, and the chrome is largely clean. Typical, slight signs of wear are present, but no noticeable damage.
The interior is neat and completely original. The black leather is in beautiful condition, with age-appropriate patina. The wood and dashboard are neat. The rear seats hardly seem to be used.
The engine starts cold, reliably and runs cleanly.

Note:
After a long period of standing still, the following symptom appears:
When the engine warms up, the vehicle stops. Most likely, this is due to the fuel pump relay, a well-known and comparatively easy to fix problem with the W126.
An overhaul or replacement of the relay is recommended.

Transmission shifts smoothly, suspension feels solid.
